Dr. Susan Thomas
After receiving her Bachelors in Science degree at Michigan State University (GO GREEN!), Dr. Thomas graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2008. She then elected to participate in an additional one- year dental residency program at the University of Michigan which furthered her training in cosmetic dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery.
Dr. Thomas enjoys getting to know her patients and works with them to select the best treatment options to improve their overall oral health. Her practice philosophy places a heavy emphasis on education and preventative care, and she pays an unequaled amount of attention to detail in her conservative approach to dentistry. She is committed to furthering her education and clinical skills by attending various classes and seminars throughout the year, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Michigan Dental Association.
Dr. Thomas grew up in Livonia since second grade, graduated from Livonia Stevenson, and currently lives here with her husband Shawn and two daughters Reyna (5) and Lia (3). She is eager to practice in, and give back to a city that has served her and her family well for so many years. Dr.Thomas enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, Spartan football/basketball, and cheering on all of our local Detroit sports teams.
Jena
Jena joined our team in 2021 and has been the perfect addition to our team!
She started working in the dental industry in 1995, when she was in high school, as a dental assistant. She later went on to pursue a career in dental hygiene in 2004.
She loves helping and educating patients with their dental needs. She knows that listening to individuals is the key to understanding what they want and need in their smile. Jena is proud to say her primary mission is to make patients feel relaxed, comfortable, and calm any fears that they may have.
In her spare time Jena enjoys staying active with many activities such as running, cycling, triathlon, and cross country skiing. When Jena is not out cycling she enjoys relaxing with her husband and son and of course her Great Dane (Katie) and kitten (Brad).
